Frequently Asked Questions

How are the scented candles made?

Our scented candles are luxury products and are handmade in Europe, Belgium, from high-quality raw materials that have been selected with the greatest care.

The wax, made from highly refined paraffin, is poured in several steps in the studio to ensure an even, high-quality combustion. The fabrics are selected in exclusive fabric houses and produced in our sewing studio.

The final finishing touch is the application of the satin ribbon.

How do I use the scented candle?

To enjoy your scented candle for as long as possible, it is important to follow a few instructions before, during and after burning.

Before burning, we recommend that you carefully trim the wick of your candle to a maximum height of 0.5 cm. Then light the wicks of your candle with a match or lighter. If you use a match, make sure that you do not leave any residue on your wax.

When burning, it is important to wait until the entire surface has become liquid before extinguishing the candle. Never burn your scented candle longer than indicated on the instruction card with the candle to prevent overheating of the glass.

To limit the smoke formation when extinguishing your candle, we recommend using our candle snuffer. Together with our wick cutter, it is an ideal decorative object for your coffee table.

After burning, before the wax hardens, place the wicks straight and in their original place. Clean the inside of the candle regularly to prevent soot formation.

When you reach the bottom of your candle, never let the last inch of wax burn down to prevent the flame from burning the glass. A flame burning the glass can crack the glass and burn the fabric.
